Supply Chain Student Club

The Supply Chain Management Club provides members with a real-world perspective on industry operations and strategies. The club facilitates the Certified Supply Chain Analyst and Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification exams, hosts industry speakers, and tours companies that excel in the supply chain industry.

The fall semester began with a tour of Horse & Dragon Brewing Company and a presentation from a senior vice president of supply chain from McDonald’s. The club hosted the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification on Oct. 26 and the CSCA Certification on Nov. 4. We are proud to share that all 11 students taking exams passed.

In the remaining weeks, we have a tour of Lost Prairie Winery and speakers from Lockheed Martin, Dennis Cole, and Topo Designs. The club is also in the process of setting up a tour of New Belgium’s distribution center. Finally, club members will soon be sporting CSU SCM polo shirts!

The Supply Chain Club is continuously building relationships with local companies and aims to provide knowledge to students entering their professional careers, so please contact the club President Calvin Spond, or the Faculty Advisor Paul Vanderspek, at if you are interested in participating in any events, hosting tours, or have questions.
