Dean Walker: ‘We are ready’

Welcome, Colorado State University community, to the start of the fall semester, as we prepare for what promises to be one of the most remarkable school years in our history.

We are ready.

Since the beginning of summer, faculty have invested countless hours adapting their courses and innovating novel approaches to teaching to ensure an exceptional learning experience for our students despite a global pandemic. Our staff, without exception, have risen to the new challenges presented by required health protocols with enthusiasm and creativity.

Beth Walker is dean of the College of Business.

Our students, both new and returning, have shown remarkable adaptability and resilience, already adjusting to new ways of learning, living, and engaging with a campus that is at once in person and remote.

In the College of Business, the theme that defines and unites us all is Business for a Better World. This bold vision shapes the questions that faculty study through their research, the curriculum we create to ensure our students are prepared to lead in a rapidly changing global marketplace, our commitment to ethics, inclusion, and equity, and our passion for enriching the communities we serve.

This fall, we welcome a new group of Biz Rams who will find a way to make a difference during their time at CSU and create an even better College of Business. We can’t wait!
