CSU College of Business students will have a unique opportunity to attend the premier fall recruiting event in the Rocky Mountain region this Friday, Oct. 6.

The Colorado Business School Career Fair is a collaborative effort between the business schools at the University of Denver, University of Colorado system and Colorado State University system. Attending organizations will have the opportunity to recruit top business talent from Colorado and Wyoming, which includes more than 1,100 students and alumni from over 12 colleges and universities.

All College of Business majors and alumni invited

The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mile High Stadium in Denver. All CSU College of Business majors and alumni are invited to attend, along with students and alumni from over 12 other colleges and universities in the Rocky Mountain region.

It is a one-of-a-kind event to have this many schools come together to benefit all of the participating students. It provides expanded benefit to CSU’s students, since they have the opportunity to meet with employers who may not visit campus.

“We have seen this lead to future engagement with CSU’s College of Business because employers are so impressed with our students,” said Susan Schell, director of the Career Management Center in the College of Business. “Mile High is also a very exciting venue for students and employers alike.”

150 companies

About 150 companies, including Tesla, Hitachi Consulting, P & G, Arrow Electronics, Charles Schwab and Sandia National Laboratories, will be in attendance recruiting students and alumni.

“Finding ways to collaborate with other universities has been a hallmark of this event,” said Schell. “We are proud of the ability to work together for the benefit of the schools, the students and the employers. The strong partnership with other universities brings more visibility, more opportunity and more success to the three organizing schools, as well as the 10 other business colleges that are invited to attend. In collaborations like this, everyone wins.”
