U.S. News and World Report ranks institutions on engagement, faculty credentials and training, services and technologies, expert opinion and student excellence using a statistical survey completed with verified data for each program, as well as data from a reputational survey.
“These rankings speak to the high quality of our programs and the value of a College of Business education,” said Beth Walker, dean of the College. “Our online programs offer the same high-caliber education as our on-campus programs and allow us to make exceptional business education available to students wherever they may be. Our unique programs teach students how business can be used to create a better world and enable them to develop the skills they need to succeed in a business world increasingly focused on innovation, technology and sustainability.”
As an AACSB-accredited institution, the College meets the highest standard of business education, including classes taught by tenure-track faculty bringing cutting-edge business research to the classroom experience. Online students benefit from the College’s excellent student support services, which include academic and career advising. Highly responsive academic advisers work closely with students from day one to plan their degree, register for courses on time and plan for financial assistance. The College’s dedicated Career Management Center connects current students and alumni with resources facilitating career exploration, job search assistance, resume review and mentoring.
The College’s online students also benefit from investments in new technologies like Mosaic, which creates an immersive learning experience by enabling online students to participate in the classroom in real time from their remote location. For the upcoming Fall 2020 Online MBA cohort, the College plans to provide access to 15 Mosaic seats for a two-year experience for those who want the benefits of remote participation combined with classroom engagement.
“Mosaic demonstrates the College’s commitment to creating a top-quality learning experience for our online students,” said Sanjay Ramchander, senior associate dean for academic programs. “We know that many online students want the same immersive, interactive learning as their on-campus peers, and Mosaic allows us to provide that experience. Our existing lecture-capture delivery already provides an excellent online learning environment and Mosaic takes that a step further by blending the best of both worlds for students who need the flexibility to learn remotely, but can also commit to two years of real-time classroom participation. By continually innovating in this space, we are giving our online students a business education that is second to none.”
