Professors and students across Colorado State University's College of Business have been studying the changing economic landscape to better position themselves as entrepreneurs and educators.
Thanks to over 1,000 donors, the College of Business recently awarded $894,000 through 246 scholarship awards, an 88% jump from the year before.
"We're seeing that you can be socially responsible and sustainable and be very profitable at the same time," says management instructor Grace Hanley Wright.
“What was superior was the delivery model, actually viewing lectures – not everyone offered that,” said David Wright, an Online MBA graduate from CSU.
Global Social & Sustainable Enterprise MBA students set out to find gaps left by other companies and deliver a product that could help where others failed.
“For me, there has been nothing more meaningful than starting a foundation in the name of our third son, Cole,” says CSU Online MBA graduate, Dave Randall.
