Colorado State University’s College of Business and the Institute for Entrepreneurship invite entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs from all departments at the university and the greater Fort Collins community to participate in Fort Collins Startup Weekend Feb. 23-25 in the Bohemian Auditorium of Rockwell West on campus.

What is Startup Weekend?

Startup Weekend is a 3-day event hosted by CSU’s College of Business Institute for Entrepreneurship. This interactive event is for students and community members who want to launch a startup, develop relationships with leading entrepreneurs, and better understand the steps it takes to get from brainstorming to being in business. On the last day, teams will pitch the concepts they created to an expert panel of judges.

In just one weekend, participants will develop their startup idea, get feedback, form teams and work with mentors to learn what it takes to create a company.

And the winner is …

The winning pitches will receive prizes. Fort Collins Startup Weekend works with local businesses and investors to provide additional support to the top startup ideas. Past prizes have included connections to investors, access to co-working spaces, market research packages, and entrance to VIP networking events.
